Jessica Cameron, O.D. FAAO

Optometrist

Dr. Cameron is a native Floridian and a graduate from North Fort Myers high school in Lee County. Dr. Cameron achieved her bachelor of science degree from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina and earned her doctorate in Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida in 2013. She then completed an ocular disease residency at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Cameron joined the University of Florida Department of Ophthalmology in 2014 as clinical faculty. During her 7 years at the University of Florida, Dr. Cameron obtainable extensive experience in ocular disease and low vision management. She obtained her fellowship through the Academy of Optometry in 2017. She has given numerous lectures on ocular disease and low vision treatment and has been a faculty instructor to various pre-optometry students and ophthalmology residents during her time at the University of Florida.
