There are a variety of medical treatments that can be done using IPL. Our most common medical treatment is IPL for Dry Eyes. Using Intense Pulse Light, we can reduce the inflammation around Meibomian Glands. The flashes of light cause the inflammatory process around the glands to decrease. When the inflammation decreases the glands can once again produce healthy oils. When these glands are producing healthy oils, it alleviates the symptoms of dry eyes.

IPL has also been proven to reduce the effects of Rosacea. By reducing the superficial inflammation of rosacea, the symptoms are reduced.

Eye Associates of Ft. Myers has recently added our very own aesthetics room dedicated for aesthetic treatment use only. This provides our patients with a pleasant soothing environment in which to have their treatments.

All procedures are performed by either our Certified Physicians, or our State licensed Clinical Medical Electrologist, Cyndi Smith. Cyndi completed a BS in Psychology and has worked in the medical field for over 15 years. She has worked in laser hair removal since 2007 and has earned her Certified Laser Technologist Certification.
